Utterly amazing Southern Indian veggie food - quick as we asked them due to having pre-arranged theater trip! Service and food amazing! Had the Chana Masala, Saag Paneer, rice and Paratha and all were just as we had on the beach in South Goa! Briliant food - bill for 2 x curries, 2 x poppadoms, 1 x rice 1 x... More

We chose to come to this restaurant pre-theatre and are familiar with the sister restaurants in Covent Garden and Harrow. The menu is pretty much identical in all the branches. The service in Percy Street was faultless and we managed to get exactly what we had asked for served up in plenty of time to leave for the musical at... More

Stumbled upon this South Indian veggie restaurant close to the British Library. My husband was particularly drawn in by the large selection on dosas, plenty to choose from and much choice of other dishes that you don't normally find elsewhere. I had the Sagar thali which had a nice selection of curries to try. We particularly enjoyed the speciality freshly... More

Ended up visiting this place twice in two days. A good option if you want some food befofe a show and everywhere is fully booked. Had dosa, ibli and pani puri all of which were great. Particularly enjoyed the pistachio milkshakes. Place isn't much to look at and the service is ok. However, the food is a really nice change... More

Nothing short of the best curry I have had outside India. I had the Southern India thali and it was absolutely outstanding. I am from the North and have had so many curries in my time that to say this is the best I've had in the Uk is high praise indeed. Thanks

A very good southern Indian restaurant, simple decor, friendly service. Would recommend. The lemon rice was very nice and the chickpeas had a lovely spice and flavours. Only a minor critic was that the service was a tad over keen to clear the plate

Oh dear. I've been here a few times but it was a semi-disaster last night. Problems: - 125 ml wine served to the brim in a tiny glass, instead of a decent sized glass. And neither rose nor house white were very cold. Or very good. - Saag peynir. Spinach horribly salty. Small portion. Rubbery peynir. Not very warm. -... More
