We chose to eat here purely for convenience, we had been walking around London all day and fancied a steak. This was the first Steakhouse we came across. We have eaten at the Angus in Leicester Square before so this was our second time. It wasn't that busy inside, it's quite small and the tables are close to one another... More

We ordered spare ribs, they weren't glazed enough and not hot enough but the taste was ok. Then we had greek salad (it didn't look like it), it was very small, the feta cheese tasted like cow cheese not goat cheese, no seasoning ( just a bit of bad olive oil that's it), it didn't look like a greek salad... Didn't realise steak could be ruined like this!! The thick cut chips (3.25 extra) were cooked last week, not a great experience at all. Waste of money, better having a Cornish pasty!

The service is superb but the food is not that good! I ordered calamari rings and steak! However the calamari rings came very oily and the steake is not cooked Very well! Improvements are needed!

Went in on a whim, in London so why not, and was immediately struck by how cramped it all was, granted at dinner time. We got a seat immediatrly, staff were good, some friendly some purely doing their job i guess. Served promptly, no troubles ordering and drinks came quickly too. It's quite expensive for things you can get at... More

Me and my partner visited here after shopping and visiting Winter Wonderland in December. We had been before but to the one in L. square. We were very impressed, as although small, the service was excellent and the food even better. The steak is well cooked and well priced for what you get. We will definitely be visiting again when... Came for breakfast, was told only 3 of the 7 breakfast options were available. First black marker. Ordered the bacon sandwich - what came was 2 slices of attempted grill bread and there almost stretched to 2 rashers of bacon. £4.95 for that privilege. As for the full English breakfast, there are better options out there. I don't mind paying... More

If possible we would not even give them one star! All food (beef & salmon) undercooked - cheesy chips cold - beef full of fat - trio of bread rolls heated up from the freezer, dry & hard!!! Management not sympathetic, obviously used to dealing with endless complaints! £100 for four of us - we will not be going back... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
