A really nice pub! Also one of few serving my favourite cloudy cider, Old Rosie. Looking forward to our next visit.

This place was very close to our hotel, so we went a couple of times. It was very nice, good atmosphere and service. Food was also good, really appreciate the place.

I went there with my family for my Christmas holidays. A really welcoming atmosphere and an excellent menu attracted us all. We appreciated the location, the staff and of course their suggestions on food and ales. I really recommend it! For sure I will be back as soon as I am in London again. Sara

We ate here for dinner one night and weren't disappointed. It had a great pub feel with great pub food. We all had the fish & chips, it was good quality with quick service.

Nice place. Hopped after evening flight for dinner and beer. Was full of people, but good food fast. Will visit again if stay in nearby hotels.

If you are in the area I recommend this pub as it is a welcoming place with average-priced beer (for London!) and a top notch burger, if a little on the dear side. Also football is shown if you like that kind of thing. Some outdoors tables set away from a main road providing a modicum of tranquility in an... More

Good pub food and service is friendly & very helpful. Not a franchise, like a lot of others in this area. We will definitely return!

I have been visiting this pub for more than 5 years now. It never fails to deliver. It is equally good for having a good dinner or grabbing a beer or coffee and having a chat with my friends. Staff is really friendly and easy going and they make you feel comfortable. Can get really busy on match days so... More

It's many years since I was last here so it was a nostalgic reunion with former work colleagues. The Edward took a wrong turn 20 years ago when the then landlord developed the basement as a 'wine bar' with light oak surfaces and bright lights. It stays closed unless someone hires it as a 'function room' The Edward still works... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
