You could easily overlook this quiet little place on a busy street, but if you search it out you'll be rewarded with an excellent experience. The salad with arugula, parmesan and cherry tomatoes makes a great starter, and the lasagna is superb. It's only a...More

I remember a restaurant called Amalfi here when I was a student in the 1980s! The prices are rather higher than a student would like but I think the food has got even better. Lovely tagliatelle bolognese and a chicken dish with aubergine sauce. And...More

Stopped for dinner and found a basic, solid establishment serving good food. I had both pasta and pizza and enjoyed both. The only set back was the house red that I did not care for. Service and price were very good.

We were looking fairly aimlessly for a family-friendly restaurant that wasn't part of yet another chain - and stumbled on this place. It's an old school Italian restaurant selling a range of classic pasta and pizza dishes. Decent choice, friendly service, cosy atmosphere. When I...More

Yes they were, and we were treated as very valued guests. The atmosphere and ambience were very much as we have found in good restaurants in Italy, where we have never been disappointed.
