Came here a few weeks ago to celebrate Australia Day with some friends and couldn't help but notice how rude the staff were... This was not helped by me losing my bag, which I looked for for over an hour and asked several members of staff to help me with and none did. I waited until all of the other... More

Visited the sports bar called The Dugout to watch an NFL playoff game on 14 January 2017. The atmosphere was very good and the TVs were on all walls and good for viewing the game. The server was attentive and retuned often to take New drink orders. We ordered food without realizing the kitchen had closed and our excellent server... More

My husband chose Belushi's to have a meal for his brother's 49th birthday as it was convenient for people to get to. They were a party of 6 age range 28-50 and this was booked ahead to reserve a table for 7.30pm with a deposit paid for in advance. My husband, aged 50 arrived and went downstairs to the table... We are from Lincoln and wanted to watch the Lincoln V Dover match on BT sports. We bought a drink and asked if they could show it as lots of screens playing different sports. They were very accommodating and said they would show it for us. We ended up in the "man cave" which was great. Thank you for making... More

We prebooked this pub for a birthday party, Although the area we had been given to play beer pong was tight, we all had an enjoyable night. I would definitely recommend it

Went for a burger in the dugout as advertised as the thing to go for. Burger was a school dinners style affair, dry, gristle and bone with lots of padding - seemed like the cheapest most awful thing I've ever had . Would have been far better at the Golden Arches . Very disappointing. My friend had a chicken burger... More

This was a typical American bar. Appetizers were reasonably priced and good feel. Enjoyed watching NFL on thanksgiving here.

Where do I start. I'm not a big fan of chain bars/pubs but thought I would give Belushis a try as it was the only place that I could find playing the formula one. The staff - unfriendly & unaccommodating. Wouldn't serve jalapeno poppers separately even though they sold deep fried mac and cheese as a side, could have just... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
