I went there for dinner last week and ordered normal matar paneer and stuffed parantha. I must say, I had never tasted a matar paneer so bad... We returned it right away and asked them to correct it. Even after that, it was not good...More

Visited on a Monday evening with friends who I had not seen for a while. We were seated promptly and politely. We decided to skip starter - the popadoms and relish tray usually suffice for me! I highly recommend the Tandoori Mixed grill - meat...More

The food was bland, plus the dishes didn't taste anything like they should. The butter chicken was yellow (no kidding), and tasted absolutely lousy (and nothing like butter chicken should taste like). The roti was pathetic as well. Quite obviously a non-Indian chef who didn't...More

I've been twice to this place so it must be doing something right, and that something is tasty curry and naan. I remember being bowled over by how good the light, puffy, buttery garlic naan was the first time around, second time they were just...More

Had a very good meal here with some old friends. The decor is nice and airy, the food excellent and service first class.

Description
The City can’t seem to get enough of Rajasthan. The success story began with a modest restaurant in Monument. It was recommended by and to so many people that a second branch opened on India Street. Now there’s a third, and it’s just as popular. The glass-front ties in well with the Gherkin next door and makes for a bright and airy space. Inside looks almost exactly like the first two venues; pale walls, dark carpet, white linen on the tables, a smattering of art on the walls. Happily, the menu also matches and is no doubt part of the reason why 80% of the diners are regulars. The wonderful murgh masallum (chicken stuffed with spiced minced lamb) is here, as is the duck mirchi, and the most satisfying lamb shank. Efficient, polite staff offer a free nightcap when they bring the bill. Nice touch, that
