We were staying at the hotel and chose to eat at Brumus as it was convenient. The restaurant was empty being a Monday night in January so that was to be expected. The server started out nice and helpful but by the end of our...More

Visited here one evening with lead cast member from show of Rat Pack. A little pricey but certainly worth it. We indulged in some sharing platters and cocktails. Without doubt, this is a must go restaurant after any show in Haymarket.

Of all the places in this chain, Brumus is the weakest. I have eaten here four or five times now, and it has been variable to say the least. Service is usually very slow and patchy. As a vegetarian, I have to say that I...More

Great service but very poor main meal - could this have been a lack of care over the 'set' menu? The beef brisket was really tough, dry and inedible. We complained, politely and that was received gracefully. Really disappointing as it was a special occasion....More

Chose from the set pre-theatre menu, 2 or 3 courses. Excellent quality food, friendly efficient service and comfortable, quality decor.

No dressed code at all. Most people seemed to be wearing smart casual. Afternoon tea here is lovely as are the staff.

I don't know - I have never looked. The one we used in the bar was in the middle of the drinks menu - it was restricted to mainly lighter things - but good selection - especially the tapper type dishes!

At the heart of London's West End theatre district, Brumus has a warm and comfortable decor ideal for meeting with family, friends or clients. A buzzing dining destination with exclusive private rooms, Brumus serves classic British dishes such as Wild Sea Bass, Roast Suffolk Chicken Breast, and Beer Battered Pollock. There is also a succulent range of grill dishes including Aberdeenshire Steaks, John Dory and West Country Lamb Cutlets, as well as Gloucester Old Spot Pork Cutlet, Haymarket Beef Burger, and Cote de Boeuf. Complementing Brumus' convenient location for London's major theatres, there is a reasonably priced pre-theatre menu - ideal for dining before the show. Each dish can be accompanied by a selection from the extensive wine list and cocktails are available at the bar. Brumus is also a glamorous place to enjoy afternoon tea. The Haymarket Tea features a selection of homemade cakes, sandwiches, scones and teas. Alternatively, indulge yourself with the exquisite Ruinart Champagne Tea, highlighted by a glass of champagne and a bowl of strawberries. Whether it be 'tea for two' or for a group of friends or colleagues, a delicious tea is served that caters for the most specific dietary requirements.
