This is not a complete review of The Silver Cross, as we attended a very large event there in October. While in London on business, our local NFL (American Football) team invited us to their football game at Twickenham Stadium, plus a “pep-rally” the night...More

The venue looks the part, the food and service not so much. I ordered the favourite sharer with two sliders, fries, cod and wild boar sausage. First of all, the sliders were dry as a beduin's sandals. It didn't taste like anything, not even salty....More

We walked into this pub because it was close to Trafalgar Square. We wanted to try fish and chips and I must say that this was some of the best fish and chips that I’ve ever had. The place had a local atmosphere and the...More

Passed by on our way from our hotel to Oxford street and stopped for an evening drink. The place was about 80% full. Seemed interesting. Drinks were OK, cannot commend on the food since we ordered a burger. You can't go wrong with a burger....More

I booked for a group of 20 people for their Festive Fayre menu - not the best of experiences! Many of my groups' food was cold, what they called a salmon risotto was simply plain boiled rice with soggy sliced carrots & parsnips with salmon...More

Starter was cold, I ate it as I was hungry, probably the best part of the meal if it had been hot. Festive pie, very small amount of filling, pastry like concrete. Disgusting mashed potatoes. Coffee tasted like instant coffee and was unbelievably weak. Did...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a

Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

Not near the Pulman Hotel at all. Silver Cross is very close to Trafalgar Square, I don't know about a roast dinner every day but possibly it may be served on a Sunday.
