After visiting Highgate cemetery and on the way to meeting my new grandson for the first time at the Whittington Hospital , we called in here for a light lunch. Pasta, coffee and a banana for £5.50p. Great value for an authentic taste of Italy.

a stones throw from my flat - this place is the ultimate place for pizza! also top tip - ask for the garlic oil to go on top of your pizza, it's SO GOOD.

Good service, food was served quickly, was delicious even not very unique. felt like eating in a good old Italian restaurant, not too much sophistication. prices were very, very reasonable. food presented aesthetically.

Still totally amazing food.....not surprising from the man who brings his mozzarella from Italy because"what you can get in London is close but not quite right". And his liver is fantastic...as are his other offerings! The boss himself greets customers....and service is fast and friendly.Prices...More

A warm and cosy Italian, not too expensive and fairly decent food. The starters were a bit of a miss, but the pizza and pasta were impressive. The disappointing thing with the starters were the zucchini flowers... normally they are light and delicate, these were...More

Superb service from the second we walked in. We hadn't booked, but it wasn't a problem and we were seated in minutes whilst a table was organised for myself, husband, 9 yr old (fussy) boy and teenage daughter. Starters were delicious, mains were outstanding, so...More

Went for a Saturday night dinner without a reservation but they still managed to get us a table which was great; staff were very friendly and the dishes (lasagne, mussel linguine, salmon fillet, nutella crepes and creme brulee) were very nice. The staff were under...More

Description
Situated on Highgate Hill, moments from the affluent suburbs of North London; this charming Italian eatery is the ideal setting for laid-back lunches, mid-week dinners and full-on feasts with the family. The restaurant is run by Fabrizio himself who spent his childhood working in his fathers restaurant in Rome and later won the hearts of Hampstead locals at La Gaffe. His fans have followed him to the new restaurant to indulge in his speciality - a metre long pizza with four toppings of their choice perfect for sharing. Other classic Italian dishes are available and fresh pasta is offered as part of a set menu every Thursday. The dessert menu changes throughout the week and features homemade delights like traditional tiramisu.
