We stayed close by to this little French cafe in South Kensington and called in a couple of times for lunch and a coffee. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and was most concerned that we enjoy our coffee...More

Charming staff and excellent baguette. Sandwich fillings were fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our meal and conversation with the owner. A little French gem in the London museum district.

With a welcoming set of sidewalk tables and a friendly staff, this place has everything one needs to get started in the morning. Excellent espresso paired with an egg scramble and you'll be right for the day ahead!

Got there before the usual lunchtime "invasion" of students from the neighbouring Lycée Charles de Gaulle. Welcomed and served by the friendly young...More

Went here for an early breakfast before taking the tube to Heathrow. Genuinely friendly owners and service. Food was quick and very tasty. Much better than any of the chains around the corner / closer to the tube!

white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
