The care showed throughout the entire meal, the attention to the smallest detail, the space given when necessary made our date an experience to hold forever. And yes, food came full with novelty fusions and gripping tales. Will return at some point to experience the...More

In general, very good food. I think the winner was the steamed foie gras. Never thought that foie gras could be steamed in fig leaves, really excellent! The scallops were also excellent, extremely fresh and tasty! The pork is a bit dry on the edges....More

This is the classic special event dining experience. We were a party of six and opted for the five-course tasting menu accompanied by some excellent wines. Everything was prepared to perfection and the service was attentive. Is Helene Darroze worth the heady price? For a...More

The service was exceptional We did the food and wine pairing Thought some of the wines were tired and played on age rather than complimentary tastes The food was beautifully presented but some of the courses just lacked flavour and were oddly paired on the...More

Having eaten at a lot of London's finest we decided to try Helen Darroze at the Connaught. What a disappointment! The hotel is right in the middle of Mayfair and offers everything at a rather inflated cost. When you use the facilities and they have...More

I find it always a bit difficult having a decent meat-free meal on a Friday. But here I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, though the alcohol-free alternatives instead of the two glasses wine in their set lunch package (which I highly recommend for value...More

It was a special birthday, and my wife took me here. Lovely attentive service (with a smile) without being too snobbish. We had the tasting menu, which you chose by removing the dishes you don't want from a wooden board, leaving you just what you...More

We went at the Darroze at the for the business lunch at 55 £ for a 3 meal course with wine pairing and coffee or tea and mineral water. It was beyond our expectations: great food ( la cuisine française à son sommet), great and...More

First time at Helene Darroze in London for our wedding anniversary. The dinner starts with an original way as you have to chose your 5 or 7 courses menu represented by nice white ceramic balls. With a little help we finally ended up with 5...More

We booked in advance and got a very nice table. And then the menu with a little solitaire game to select your dishes to create your own five or seven course menu for the evening. My vegetarian daughter - we told on booking - got...More

Set beside some of London's best parks and home to
world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed

London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is

I do not think it's so strict in terms of sress code, mostly for lunch. However, just give them a call, to be 100% sure.

Yes, I have a 8 year old boy they happily served us. As long as they like calamari/ seafood, meat, vanilla/chocolate ice cream (I'm sure they like the ice cream part) but they do not have a kids menu.

  • This restaurant is at The Connaught
In the beautiful surroundings of Hélène Darroze's two Michelin-starred restaurant at The Connaught, her lifelong passion for the finest produce and incredible skill is reflected in every aspect of one of Mayfair's most intimate dining experiences. Each day, Hélène selects the very best and freshest ingredients from the network of suppliers she has spent a lifetime gathering, and cooks them with precision, honesty and passion. The resulting menu celebrates the tastes and textures of the most stunning individual produce, prepared in a way that allows each ingredient to shine. At the heart of this whole experience is trust. It starts with the trust that Hélène places in her suppliers, to provide her with exceptional produce, of impeccable seasonality and provenance. And it extends to the diners, who place their trust in Hélène's culinary skill by selecting from the simple list of exceptional ingredients available that day, to be served as a succession of impeccably realised dishes. The result is a thrilling expression of French culinary craft, delivered with a contemporary flourish, enjoyed in a truly elegant setting. India Mahdavi's calm, sophisticated interior and a specially commissioned glasswork installation celebrating the visual beauty of the ingredients found in Hélène's cooking complete what is a feast for the eyes and nourishment for the soul.
