We were in central London & fancied some Indian food, more street food than fine dining, so I typed this into google maps and Hankies came up as a 10 minute walk away. We were greeted by all the chefs when we walked in and...More

We found Hankies on trip advisor and we not disappointed. Our Waiter helped us choose our dishes as it is like tapas, so you need a few to make a meal. I had lamb chop which was divine and succulent plus lentil dahl so creamy...More

You can choose smaller dishes to share. A good range with different spices. Good selection for vegetarians. Ask about the spiciness if that is an issue for you. Pleasant service.

What a great place, cafe style so no thrills dining. The food though is so good, the chef is indeed an artist. Thank you to Ryan for introducing me to him and your professional approach. Mike

very casual ambience; great food at reasonable prices; very pleasant service. Went there with five friends on Friday night and got there before the rush. We chose a main each plus several of the little Indian street food "tapas". All delicious.

Decent food, but we were largely ignored. It took a while for the waiter to remember to come back and take our order. My friend asked for a glass of tap water which never materialised. The reason I mention it is because they add a...More

My mum fancied Indian, I fancied something different so we gave Hankies Cafe a go. Served in small tapas style plates you can forget the traditional Indian dishes you always get (particularly if you live in the country). Instead we put our trust in the...More

I don't beleive that they do reservations. And it's generally quick so a total of about 45 min would be ok.
