Amazing down to earth authentic Middle Eastern food served by really friendly staff with pride. It’s essentially a takeaway with a very cosy restaurant area at the back, but if you want good reasonably priced food served with love from grill to plate by staff who will enjoy helping you navigate the menu and thank you kindly for your custom, this is it. Platter of the day £13 is an easy starting point if you just want a combo of grilled skewers and tasty mezzes. Kofte is particularly good.

I meant to write a review about the hospitality that I received many months ago at Hiba restaurant. I was walking along the high street on Holborn when I saw an unassuming eatery sandwiched between McDonalds and a job agency.
As a means of treating myself during the lockdown, I stepped into a piece of Middle East and the ambience was mind blowing. Mind blowing was a word taken to good use by us all. All in all I bought a portion of chips and fafafels. They were a good combination of west cuisine meeting the middle east vibe - simply palatable.
P.S. There were special discounts for NHS and key workers helping with the Coronavirus effort - (please don't rush at once).

We came here for my friends birthday and I am so glad we did. The food was DELICIOUS and cooked to perfection, and the waiters were so nice and friendly. They sung happy birthday to my friend, with fun birthday music, candles and a yummy authentic Lebanese dessert. We will definitely be returning. As far as food quality goes, in my opinion HIBA is nicer and tastier than high end London-Lebanese restaurants.

I had two excellent meals here during a short stay nearby in August. both occasions the staff were friendly and welcoming and gave me a great introduction to Lebanese food which I had never tasted before. The food was first rate, very tasty, good sized portions and excellent value for money, with bonus treats at the end.

Great food, friendly service, and affordable prices. I had the falafel wrap with a salad and fresh lemonade, followed by dessert. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Servers are very friendly, engaged with customers, and genuinely attentive. I have allergies and they were very accommodating, even making the dessert without nuts. Upon leaving, they gave us free baklava. Would highly recommend for a lunch or casual dinner.

A gem in the city of London. While I was around the area I searched for good Mediterranean food near by and I found this gem. Exceptional taste, great service and the best part of the evening was the hospitality which won our Hearts. It may seems a regular food place from outside but once you get in you will be swept away by the food, love and service. Super like and will visit again

Went there for dinner tonight. Food was very nice. But the waiter encouraged us to over-order loads so we've ended up with more food to take home than we needed! And there's no toilet - you have to sneak into the pub opposite. So, great for a quick bite on the run but not a place to sit to catch up with friends over an evening.

I was looking for something different to eat while in London, and I found this place. I had a large shawarma lamb wrap for around £6 and it was DELICIOUS. Great service, served myself and 5 friends in under 15 minutes and kindly gave us some free baklava when we all finished, which was reallllly good as well.

What a find. A tiny place with a few tables inside and out, it looks more geared for takeaway. We went around 9pm and got a table inside. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, the waiter/boss checked with us that the air con was a good temperature for us and if we were happy with our table. He was happy to advise on menu choices and also how one particular dish was prepared and went into great detail, clearly a man proud of his food.
He has every right to be proud of the food. Homemade flatbreads, the creamiest houmous, potatoes with a hugely warming spice and kick of chilli heat. Beautiful fresh garlic dip and a chilli sauce with the perfect level of heat to keep you coming back for more. The crispiest filo pastry filled with melting feta cheese. Mains were okra stew (pronounced 'delicious' by family) and I went for the lamb shawarma. Forget the elephant's leg kebab, this was chunky, unreconstituted pieces of the tenderest lamb in a flatbread wrap with a little salad and sauce, finished in a paper wrap to hold it all together. Just lovely.
After each course our wonderful waiter seemed genuinely thrilled that we'd eaten so much, that he'd made us happy. He certainly did with this food. To finish our meal he brought us small pieces of the lightest, airiest baklava I've ever had, a perfect end to a fabulous meal. We overheard other diners saying they'd had the same fantastic experience as us. We'll be back to delve deeper into the menu of this little diamond.

I was staying local to Euston with work due to train strikes and needed food. I fancied a steak but being a thrifty Northern bloke i opted for more sensible costs despite it being on the company.
I was not disappointed, the food was fantastic and the guys went over and above to make my visit a pleasant one.
I was even tempted to get too much not knowing portion sizes and was advised not to “push food” - shows real care for food experience and not looking at the bill!
Great service and food! What more can you ask.
If you can visit… do it!

The food was really nice, staff were friendly and helpful, and the value for money is amazing. Easy to find at around 5 mins walk from two underground stations. Great vegan and vegetarian options. Recommend ordering a platter plus some small plates if sharing, the portions are very generous. Highly recommend a visit here.

A great find. My children and I had a lovely meal and the staff and service was great. The owner showed us how to eat our meal traditionally, which my son thoroughly enjoyed adopting. Excellent value for money and good portions. We ordered a vegetarian platter and side dishes including the tasty sausage and Chook Chook salad. All the food was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

It's the second time we're visiting the place and the owner is already making us feel like we're casuals! The food is great, the atmosfere is lovely and we've enjoyed it a lot both times. Prices are also very reasonable. We've had the vegetarian plate and two wraps, delicious!

Called in for a quick light lunch as we were eating much later today. We ordered the platter of the day with chicken shawarma. Absolutely delicious. We got 2 sorts of houmous, salad, a falafel, delicious chicken and bread. Also ordered some fries, which were lovely too, but we really didn't need them! Had a glass each of fresh lemonade, ice cold and really refreshing. We got some complimentary baklava when we'd finished. Then we had some Arabic tea with cardamom and more baklava. The bill came to £22 which is very reasonable for the quality of food in the middle of London. The service was so friendly too. Will definitely be back before we go home.
