Wow! Nothing more to be said; just an absolute incredible experience, would love to go back, but will have to save up again for a while as it was certainly not cheap.

My wife and I had a truly incredible experience at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester. There was absolutely nothing that we could fault. Exquisite wine pairing, sumptuous set lunch and the decor/service was world class. Without a doubt the lunch of the Year to date. All UK Three Mitchelin restaurants now experienced apart from the Fat Duck (but they have... More

What I adore about this restaurant is that , whilst stunning, it is warm and unpretentious. The staff are genuinely charming, not obsequious. The menu is half the cost of the Parisian counterpart but the quality is at least the equivalent. Look out for the genius sommelier, Christopher Bothwell, who is in a league of his own.Tell him what you... More

Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester Environment max beautiful and comfortable, all the tables at a great distance from the neighbors, but some tables face the brunt where it gets a lot of running behind his back asleep. Then they have a "special room", with which isolates the person from the spotlight. Who sits there. When you want to be anonymous.... More

Our third visit did not disappoint. The food was, as always, exceptional. In particular, the signature lobster starter was the finest dish on this or any other menu. The dining experience as a whole has been equalled only by Ramsay on Royal Hospital Rd. The only negative is that the restaurant indulges wealthy diners and their children to such an... More

From the moment we were greeted at the door, to four hours (!) later when we left, the experience was truly incredible. We both had the 7-course tasting menu with the 'Discovery' wine pairing and everything, including the stack of Gougeres that were provided at the start, to the petit fours that we were given to take home was incredible... I don't usually write reviews. I had dinner with my wife at Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester. Impeccable food, excellent service, lovely environment, great wine list... It deserves its 3 Michelin stars and the cost is reasonable for the quality... I definitely recommend the lobster gourmand, the crab, the beef and the baba rum... I don't understand why people write... More

Booked a table for a family dinner. As you can expect in these kind of places from the greeting at the entrance until the farewell, everything was immaculate. We have been here a few times already and we always enjoyed it. All the waiters are over the top, highly knowledgable. But of course the food is the main "attraction". The... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
