During our stay we actually made it out of our gorgeous suite to enjoy breakfast in The Foyer. It was definitely worth getting out of the bath robe to join the land of London's movers and shakers. If you ever watched the Claridges documentary, you've seen that there's a gentleman in it that's been having breakfast at Claridges for the... More

We had breakfast here, which was included with the hotel stay. Ask for a table in the back room, as it feels private, and has a glorious view of the lobby. No one at our table ate pork, and they were able to accomodate us without any difficulty. Service and teh food were excellent in a beautiful location.

We had always admired the Foyer & Reading Room at Claridge’s, feeling that it typified our idea of the quintessential grand London hotel. We had dined at the now closed Gordon Ramsay’s at Claridge’s, and then the newer Fera, and decided to have a light lunch at the Foyer. We finally made that happen, and were so glad that we... More

This is my most favourite place. I love the hotel. The staff are exceptional. The Foyer is intimate yet grand. (Note to staff - treat every guest with the same level of service. I feel some guests are better attended too than others and this is poor form. Everyone is paying the same amount to be sitting there).

Very nice looking lobby lounge in a beautiful sunny day - a bit difficult to get a table as expected. But hey, there should always be a waiting list. Beautiful live piano music. At first the receptionist was saying the lounge was really full. We waited and luckily there was a table available. Thanks Claridge's!

A three course lucnch at Claridges must cost a furtune? No it doesn't! - perefectly cooked and perfectly presented for £35 - OK, the wine etc. racks the price up, but still amazing value for such a level of quality. Claridges never fails in impress!

I've been before for after noon tea. I heard they do a nice meal in the evening. I was wrong, it wasn't a nice meal. It was a excellent meal. The ambiance & service are second to none. Like Arnie, " I'll be back "

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
