I felt like royalty having tea here! From the venue to the service, it made me feel like a queen! All the pastries were delicious too. We received tea, pastries, scones, sandwiches, and cake at the end! What a delight everything was! Even my husband...More

The first time I had afternoon tea at The Ritz was about 15 years ago. It was everything that I expected, refined, elegant and indulgent. Now it has become the afternoon tea experience, another thing to tick off the bucket list. There is something very...More

Only go if you want to say you've had 'Tea at The Ritz' otherwise there are plenty of hotels where you can have a much better experience. It is very expensive for what you get, which was nothing special, and when we didn't manage to...More

Nothing but superlatives for this one! We were excited to be given a voucher for afternoon tea, and the experience did not disappoint! Lovely waiters, gorgeous ambience, delicious sandwiches and cakes, piano music of the period (The Ritz was opened in 1906), happy people in...More

After reading some of the reviews on here, I was so hoping that I wouldn’t have the same experience as others, but it seems the Ritz afternoon tea is nothing more than a very expensive, poor quality, tourist attraction. My husband arranged for us to...More

The whole experience is great, however it wasn't as good as the previous experiences I have had there. One pot of tea had to last us throughout. On previous occasions the tea was refreshed once or twice and was poured for us. This time only...More

Could not go to London without enjoying a nice High Tea. The atmosphere was relaxing and classy. Enjoyed Excellent service and scrumptious sandwiches and sweet desserts. We all enjoyed our time together and the champagne was an extra treat.

During a 4 night stay in the Ritz last Christmas my wife and I booked a late sitting for afternoon tea. One cannot question the Christmassy feel with the carol singers and the pianist playing during our sitting, but the quality of the tea did...More

I don't think you can keep your bags with you inside the Palm court as the spaces between tea tables are limited. However, I think you may ask the reception/concierge to keep your bags while you enjoy your aft. tea.

They saw we had finished our tea sandwiches and asked which ones we liked and brought us more. We left, stuffed from so much good food and tea. Their scones were some of the best I had throughout England and Scotland.

A British institution in itself, Tea at The Ritz is proud to be a member of the Tea Council's prestigious Tea Guild. Served in the spectacular Palm Court, a choice of several varieties of tea, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream and a range of delicate pastries, combine to make for an unforgettable afternoon. The luxurious and graceful setting of The Ritz Palm Court is legendary and this is most certainly an opportunity that must be experienced, whether you are visiting London or already live there. Reflecting the elegant nature of the hotel's architecture The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery) and The Ritz Club, smart casual attire is suitable. Please note that trainers or sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel or Club's restaurants or bars.
