Went here for a special birthday and loved it. Have read some of the other reviews and yes it can seem like you are on a conveyor belt as they feed you in and seat you and was a bit noisy. However it was genuinely...More

Afternoon tea is alright, nothing special at all. The surroundings and settings are amazing no doubt but the afternoon tea overall is just alright. Sandwiches alright, avoid the ham and mustard as the mustard is just way to overpowering. All the ham and mustard got...More

Went for afternoon tea for my wife's birthday. We had a fantastic time. The food and tea was amazing. Great service and reasonably priced for what you were getting. You just need to book 4 months in advance. Will go again.

Traditional afternoon tea at the Ritz was nice. Impressive decor, attentive service and live musician, made for a great girly afternoon. We were able to top up our cake and sandwich selections and left quite full. I was however a little disappointed with the selection...More

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier

indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s

I think they are quite amenable as one of our group was diabetic and instead of giving her cakes they had made up the most beautiful plate of fresh fruit.

A British institution in itself, Tea at The Ritz is proud to be a member of the Tea Council's prestigious Tea Guild. Served in the spectacular Palm Court, a choice of several varieties of tea, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream and a range of delicate pastries, combine to make for an unforgettable afternoon. The luxurious and graceful setting of The Ritz Palm Court is legendary and this is most certainly an opportunity that must be experienced, whether you are visiting London or already live there. Reflecting the elegant nature of the hotel's architecture The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery) and The Ritz Club, smart casual attire is suitable. Please note that trainers or sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel or Club's restaurants or bars.
