The Sunday brunch was perfect to celebrate my birthday and was well worth the trip to London. We arrived early for the second sitting and we're seated immediately. The restaurant was busy but quiet as the room is enormous! I chose the champagne option and my wife the endless sparkling wine. The glasses were regularly refilled and were instantly filled... More

I booked a set menu lunch with a glass of champagne at the Roux as a treat for my mum for Mothers day and she absolutely loved it! The food, staff and atmosphere was wonderful. The presentation and taste of the food was fabulous, and the use of edible flowers was just so pretty as well as tasty.

Stunning setting lovely food most of the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Champagne was delicious and would definitely recommend to pistachio soufflé to finish!! Found the cod for main a little heavy but my boyfriend really enjoyed his ox cheek!

Walking through the front door of the Langham Hotel already makes you feel special . The very warm and friendly welcome which followed made us feel on top of the world. We were taken to a table by the window and as I was tasting the incredibly smooth white wine we had chosen to accompany our meal I thought this... More

We came here for the Set Lunch Menu with Petit Fours and Half Bottle of wine. We where both able to choose something for every course and actually both of us got a half bottle of wine. The food was excellent and extremely tasty. I had the crispy hens egg as a starter which arrived in its own nest of... More

I was a little concerned reading previous reviews however I must say we had an excellent lunch with very good service. We chose the set lunch and although not all the choices were to my taste what I chose was exceedingly tasty and I enjoyed every morsel. The day was made even more special meeting Albert Roux on the steps... More

My partner surprised me with dinner here on my birthday. The a la carte menu is limited, comprising of mainly fish options which is unusual but we didn't have a choosing what to eat. To start we had the asparagus which was fine but seemed to be lacking some flavour, the foie gras terrine other the other hand was amazing!... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
