I ate here the other night and the food and service were great. It was very quiet and the menus were a little bit tired but it did not take away from the quality of the food which was delicious. The female waitress was lovely...More

Old fashioned, family run, Italian restaurant in Fitzrovia. Excellent lunch, with attentive service from the all Italian crew. Without asking, cold tap water brought to the table. Not pressed to have wine. Good portions and traditional food. Another plus, is, that including the toilets, the...More

A delightful step back in time to an old fashioned Italian Restaurant in London. The family run restaurant is a refreshing change from all the chain restaurants on every corner. The people are lovely and the food good.

This is a charming, family owned restaurant, and is well worth the visit when in London. It's quality food that is simple and fresh, and the staff are friendly.

Arrived late into London and hungry. We got a good meal, fast and nicely cooked. Menu is typical Italian fair and true to quality. Service is typically Italian with a bit of cheek. Nice dinner and good value.

Originally we wanted to try somewhere new at Da Paolo but they said they were booked all night but funnily enough had availability when phoning 5 mins later. I knew that Trattoria Mondello wouldn't let us down. The food and service is consistently good. It's...More
