Had lunch here after a visit to the British Museum, it was fantastic. The staff were friendly, the setting was lovely, and the food was great. I'd love to stay at the Hotel and visit here regularly.

We visited the restaurant in April 2018. We liked the Leopard bar before dinner and the different cocktails. The staff and service is immaculate. The quality of the food as well. We would definitely go there again and can recommend it 100%.

This restaurant is close to the British Museum and is part of a hotel. Limited menu but large wine list. Comfortable traditional dining room decor. Okay Service. Average food.

A really lovely dinner with top class service. The prices are fair for what you pay for. The burgers in particular were fantastic with huge portions Definitely will be back!

I'm a veteran of fine dining and we were not disappointed. The food was magnificent. We enjoyed the the cheese, the pasta and burgers with creamy mushroom chacovy. Duck breast pizza with rigatoni.

Really enjoyed dinner here. The menu choices are varied and interesting whether table d’hote (good value) or a la carte. Some interesting starters to choose from - such as quinoa, avocado and feta. Then the duck cottage pie for main was great. And a very...More

Actual Bistro would prob be very smart casual. We went casual and were placed in garden room with bistro menu. Really good value.

The Blue Door Bistro provides a welcoming and informal bistro-style setting, with a fantastic menu to match. Light and airy at lunchtime and warm, cosy and candlelit by evening, the room is decorated on three sides with an antique panoramic view of London circa 1849: together with the rich mahogany panelled walls, effective use of mirrored glass, and contemporary wrought iron wall lights, an ambience rooted in the hotel's location is beautifully achieved. Executive chef, Martin Halls, used the finest of seasonal British ingredients, seasoned with the freshest of herbs from Chef's kitchen garden. With a wide range of vegetarian dishes and salads, commended with an AA rosette for its cuisine, you can rely on good honest food and impeccable service. We only use free range eggs and are committed to using sustainable fisheries for our fish supplies.
