It is well located and is opened until late in the night. Went for dinner and was very pleased with the food and specially the attention of Ana, one of the waitresses. Real spanish food!

The Old Vic Theatre is 5 minutes walk away and even closer, the Cervantes Theatre. We went at 6pm and were out in time for a 7.30pm show. Gambia street is not well sign-posted, but is 3 minutes walk from Southwark tube station. Good wine...More

So happy to have found this restaurant. Understated (we sat in the garden), in a typically Spanish way with minimum attention to decor, and exceptional food. The chicken livers are to die for, but every single dish was sensational! (I even got the chef to...More

Went here with my girlfriend after work following a quick google search for tapas places near us. I was blown away by how delightful it was. In a sea of "London cool" restaurants, that you quickly become sick of working in the area, this is...More

Had dinner here last Friday. Haven’t been in here for many years (& it’s still good) Ordered a selection of Tapas, including octopus, tortilla, pimentos de pardon, etc. Cheeky bottle of house red. All good.

This is an excellent place with authentic Spanish Tapas. Ham croquettes were fantastic, but so too was everything else. Nice atmosphere, reasonably priced and excellent service. Nice courtyard garden for summer evenings.

Fantastic authentic Spanish food and cosy atmosphere. It’s hard to find a real traditional tapas bar with such good quality! Some recommendations would be the Pimientos de Padrón filled with crab meat, the Arroz a banda (paella) and Spanish omelette.

We had a long day and wanted to have a nice sit down dinner. With a party of seven we knew w/o reservations our options would be limited. We walked in and asked if they had room. It appears as though the owner was there...More

I work nearby and must come here at least once a week when I'm not travelling. Having lived in Spain and tried a variety of other Spanish restaurants in London (Brindisa, Dehesa, Barrafina, Lobos, Las Ramblas), I can say that Mar I Terra delivers the...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
