Always make a point of visiting The Footman when I'm in town. Excellent service, great vibe and of course tasty beer! The staff in particular are really friendly. All round a cracking venue.

Had a wonderful dinner upstairs. We ordered the lamb entree and the scallop starter. Both dishes were prepared perfectly. Mady was our server and she took great care that make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Last but not least I do have to say that...More

I booked a table at The Footman for my annual meet up with old school friends. We wanted somewhere central as we all lived in different directions, with good food, good ambience but quiet enough to be able to catch up on a year's worth...More

Came to London for a few days and pleased to find somewhere for a pre-dinner ale in Mayfair. Friendly staff, good beer and relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed sitting at the window watching the world go by. Would have stayed longer, but had a table booked elsewhere.More

We stopped off here for a late night jar of a quiet and fairly dull night in Mayfair. Beer was good and staff friendly. Real pub feel in what can be a fairly dainty neighbourhood.More

My husband and I visited The Footman again on Saturday afternoon during our weekend in London. This time, we pretty much travelled all across the City to get to the pub as we were staying over near Moorgate. We decided to have a snack, and...More

I am sitting in The Footman. My reservation was for 2pm. It is now coming up to 3.15pm. We ordered 3 sandwiches and had the most sarcastic American sounding waitress telling us that our sandwiches are still being plated up behind a party for 10....More

The newly brushed-up and re-launched Footman in Mayfair definitely hasn't lost any of its British roots in the process. This much-loved pub, restaurant and private event space houses elegant, yet unpretentious surroundings, complete with a truly British menu featuring home-grown produce direct from the farmers. Guests can slide up to the long mahogany bar or comfy booth seating and enjoy well crafted favourites with our well established team. For those who feel that the wine bar set have lost sight of what made Britain great, The Footman Mayfair is definitely for you.
