A huge thank you to Alessandro and the whole team for making us so welcome. Such a shame we live so far away, but our visits to Dukes are such a great experience. We will come whenever we are in London!

Nice little bar with excellent (but a bit snobbish) service. The $20-$30 for a cocktail might be a bit too much but the personality of the place is worth it as a once in a lifetime experience, especially considering the Sir Ian Fleming connection. Good...More

On the recommendation of a friend, I popped into Dukes Bar for a martini (on Sean Connery's birthday as it turned out). The signature martinis are named for characters in Ian Fleming's James Bond novels. Having just finished Ian Fleming's You Only Live Twice, I...More

We came for late drinks. We heard of the Dukes bar as tourists do... We had a very nice quiet time. Nice staff. Superb drinks.

Was visiting London and some friends took me to Dukes Bar. Great atmosphere, setting is beautiful. But service was bad. They served us a warm bottle of wine, and staff was rude when we sent it back for another bottle. Stick to cocktails!

The bartenders will deliver the ingredients via cart and make your drinks at the table. Great history since the bar was one of Ian Fleming's favorite hangout. Quiet, dead-end street. Very popular place so reservations are highly recommended. Their martinis are great, but so are...More

My wife and I frequent this bar on every visit to London and are never disappointed. The prices are certainly on the high end, but the service is unmatched. Parties larger than 4 people will find it hard to be accommodated. You cannot wear shorts...More

Dear Guest, What a wonderful review of our bar, thank you! We simply could not ask for better feedback than to hear you consider ours the 'best martinis in the world'. We are honoured to receive such kind praise and very much look forward to...More

A group of 5 went for a martini before dinner in the same hotel. Had heard good things about the Vesper and it didn't let us down....a great start to the evening, but be warned - they are very strong! Also not cheap!More

Come early, dress smart, have a small party and thick skin kids, because this place is a sardine can, packed space full of well dressed foreigners with the rudest staff we encountered in 6 days in London. The extra rude Russian block head at the...More
