The food was good and our waiter was attentive. I have heard that the service can be slow; however, we did not experience this, but also it was not that busy. As it was my birthday, they also gave us a little treat.

Brought a client here for lunch due to the riverside location, expecting the food to be good but nothing special. Was impressed by the quality of the food, as was my client. Service a fraction slow but did not affect enjoyment whatsoever. Would come back

There were 7 of us eating and we had booked. We had trouble with the tube but phoned ahead to say we were on the drag - no problem. Staff went over and above. Such good service. The food was amazing too. Thank you.

You asked me to reply to your post saying how sorry you were for the lack of good service and asking me for some solutions as to how you could make it a better experience for the public. To begin with a more rapid response from your staff to ask for our requirements. There were no staff on hand to deal with our request for some wine.one of our party had to go up to the bar to order it. No attempt was made to suggest any other comparable drinks of a similar price. The sandwiches although " delicately " presented were slightly stale, and not much filling in.The scones, as I said before were rock hard and and the " cream" inedible.I was one of the customers who had to leave without finishing the desserts because of the delay in service.I strongly recommend that the gratuity is left up to the discretion of the individual ( or group) of customers, rather than have it added on by the staff, which seemed to be rather excessive. All in all, not a very memorable experience. Mrs. Hall.
