A welcome from a member of staff, friendliness & helpfulness always available at this ASK Restaurant. Waitress remembered my friends & I, we meet up every 3/4 months, 2 coming from Colchester, 2 from Gosport, Hampshire. We are always welcomed. The food is hot, tasty & plentiful. The atmosphere is quietly happy. Just behind Oxford Street, it gets a mixture... More

Visited after taking a trip round the London Christmas lights with our three year old (2 January). It was our first visit to this restaurant since I worked in Wigmore Street ten years ago. The food was very good. But the highlight was the service. Our waitress, Sophie, was absolutely brilliant with Joshua, our little one. She gave him real... More

After shopping in Oxford St. we walked into this restaurant at 2.30. It had a relaxed atmosphere and was still quite full. We chose a hot sharing platter and a carafe of Rose wine. The food was attractively presented with a wide variety of tastes. The wine was served really cold which we liked, and the service was good.

Good food, good service. Most enjoyable. The menu was as per all other Asks, but this predictability is good for the kids who know what they like and like what they know !

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
