Always a joy to eat here. The food is reasonably priced and the service is thoughtful. My first choice for the Wapping area

Popped in for a quick bacon butty and a cup of tea with my sister whilst visiting her new flat. The waitress taking our order had limited English and had to be helped in taking the order. The bacon was a disappointment to say the least and my sisters sandwich was missing the sausage. You can imagine my shock when... More

Wanted to get a greasy spoon style breakfast with my sister-in-law on her last morning in London, visiting from LA. She and I had the large breakfast with tea and coffee respectively and it was brilliant! My missus, on the other hand, wanted eggs Benedict - it arrived as cold ham instead of "Canadian bacon" or any other English bacon... More

If you want a proper fry up for breakfast or a hearty lunch this place won't disappoint. I like also their salads and some of their sandwiches. Service can be slow some times, but it is done efficiently.

If you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful head here (I pretty much eat here on a weekly basis)! The table service is fairly slow, and the food not anything special but it is a great place! The staff are friendly and chatty which makes up for the slow service. The menu is a good size with lots of... More

Pumblechooks was previously one of our favorite haunts for a quick lunch offering nice food and attentive service at a reasonable price. However, as a group we are becoming tired of the slow service and with issues with our food. I've just returned from the most disappointing trip yet and we will certainly be looking for somewhere else locally. I... More

The all day breakfast was one of the best my husband has had with very good bacon, sausages, eggs, potatoes and mushrooms. They offered hash browns in lieu of baked beans. My jacket potato with avocado and prawns was very tasty and served with a salad. We plan to go back to try their hot food buffet that looked very... More

Visit here quite frequently and the quality of food and attentive, friendly and courteous service justify the OK prices, not cheap but not expensive either. Worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Good takeaway too.

Stopped in here on the way to Tower Bridge for a late breakfast. It was pretty quiet as it was a weekday morning and the waitresses were quick with a smile and friendly greetings. I got the impression that it must get really busy at lunchtime; it's perfectly located for the local offices, the seating area is generous and there... More

Spent a week on a training course nearby and visited this place almost daily. Pleasant staff. Good for breakfasts and lunches. Nice staff and good selection of toasted and fresh sandwiches. Will return when next in the area and can recommend.
