Had dinner here on Tuesday night and went for the two course per person with a bottle of wine for £20 each. Excellent food options as well as a good wine selection. Two course with wine was excellent value for money. We have various meals...More

Booked a table here for 1pm so were shown straight to it. Large carafe of water already on table. Ordered drinks and food which didnt take long, food was good and reasonable. Staff really friendly and efficient. First visit here but not the last.

This is a place we would repeat at. The food menu was well done and the service was very good. Prices were also very affordable for GB. Its very convenient to the Novotel Hotel which made it very convenient

Had a very nice meal here in a relaxed atmosphere. However, I do have to agree with other review regarding service, it was on the slow side with no particular server dealing with us.

Had fish and chips which I was dissapointed in a lot of the chips were hard and fish had too much batter. My friend had the steak sandwich that she really enjoyed. Service was good

Brilliant place for a quick drink or a relaxing meal. The atmosphere is great, the food is lovely and the bar is stocked with different ales each month. I try and come here at least once a month.

Had burger and chips. The burger was not as moist as I like but quite dry. Other members of the party ate theirs with lots of mayonnaise so no complaints from them. Staff were friendly enough and quite attentive. But the experience wasn't anything memorable.

Had a meal here with family, food was good, but the service was a bit slow. We was put out the way in a corner, and noticed others coming in after us getting served first. and had to ask for the bill twice.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Hi, we recently visited and paid a 58£ bill in a hurry, however when we returned home we checked the menu and found that our order should've cost us about 48£. Is there a service charge or v.a.t charge that we weren't aware of? Thanks.

I couldn't tell you the exact time but we were here with our 6 year old girl and we left at half 9 on a Saturday night and no one was chasing us out.

Does the Hub still serve Pilsner Urquell? Heard a rumor that the pub no longer serves it?
