Came in for a complementary glass of prosecco after doing the City bus tour (The red bus tour). Decent ales and worth a look.

Interesting deco and some very good ales. Very pleasant sitting environment. A large establishment with various rooms with comfortable chairs.
Thank you so much for this great review :)
We were planning a trip to a concert at the Philharmonic Hall and on Thursday called in to Philharmonic Pub to see if it suited our needs as one of our party would be in a wheelchair. The decor in the pub is very interesting...More

Cheryl, Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely reviews. Due to the building being so big most customers prefer to eat downstairs during the day. Once it hits 5pm the resturant starts to fill up. Thank you again for this feedback and...More
Called in for a drink. Although I didn’t eat, (I had just eaten elsewhere), the food looked excellent and reasonably priced. The pub is worth going into if only for a look round. The front door and the interior decor are out of this world.

Jwk18 sorry about your visit. The toilets tend to smell the more they are being used. With them being 119 years and grade 1 listed we are very limited on what we can do. Did you mention about your sandwich? We would have happily replaced...More
Beautiful, old fashioned bar with old fashioned decor, stained glass windows and several snug rooms, with comfortable seating could have stayed all afternoon
