We went with some friends for a pre theatre dinner before our concert last night. We arrived at 5.30pm. We ordered a bottle house wine at £18. The quality should be better for the charge. It took over half an hour before our staters arrived. Again we had to wait 20 minutes before our main courses arrived. The desserts were... More

Been here for lunch a number of times. Food I got was always fresh every time, prepared and served with care. The Christmas lunch menu was unreal. I've had the bread with pate to start of with served with this amazing red onion and tomatoes chutney. If I could buy it in a jar, I would. For main I've had... More

Visited with family for a birthday. Ordered aranchini which was just OK but very small. Two members of my family got the hummus which came as just a spoonfull sized amount. For main i ordered the beef bourguignon as I had this last year and it was divine however on this occasion it came out quite differently; very small shreds... More

Have had lunch here four or five times. Menu is always different, and always excellent. Three courses, glass of wine and coffee for around £17. Amazing value. Have never had anything but delicious food, and great service. Would thoroughly recommend.

Have eaten here several times as well as at the others in the group. They are all very similar but I do prefer the location and layout of this one. Stopped by for le lunch rapide. Great value at £8.50 for one course. Hadn't reserved but it was very quiet when we arrived so although only 2 of us we... More

Very poor attempt at being French; specifically their attempt at French cuisine. We visited early evening and took advantage of their early theatre set menu; however the food was very disappointing. I ordered "Grilled Sardines" as a starter, but only got one sardine, which clearly hadn't spent too much time under the grill. When I mentioned that one sardine does... More

Took my mum for a little pre show meal. Nice venue staff very pleasant. Had 3 courses for 11.95 per head, about 5 choices for each course. Food was really tasty and very enjoyable. Would most definitely return.

My girlfriend and I have eaten at all three bistros in Liverpool over the past three years. We used to love it, quality food and very reasonable, especially the pre-theatre and wine and dine deals. Went here last night and the food is just not as good anymore. It's still nice but there doesn't seem to be any attention to... More
