My first visit here was for a coffee - which was very nice, served by friendly staff in a nice environment. I returned yesterday for lunch. A good choice of quiche, tarts or panini all with a choice of salads. Also baked potatoes, sandwiches, casserole and scouse. The food is fresh and tasty. very good value.

Great customer service.great value for money. They do the best traditional scouse in the city. Would definitely go back

Very nice location and just right for a quick snack whilst passing by or visiting the Cathedral. Nice and comfortable and modern, but maybe just a bit pricey.

Well, on the plus side, the wifi worked and the location is nice and peaceful, set back from the road, but the muffin was either stale or badly baked, and the latte was so insipid as to be tasteless - what there was of it, as about a third of it was froth. Very disappointing.

After visiting the two cathedrals, we needed a sit down. It was 12:30 so decided on having lunch here. A quick scan of the menu, and we both agreed it had to be the scouse. (Not cheap at £9-25 a bowl) The meal came with a generous chunk of farmhouse style bread, and a ramekin of thick cut red cabbage.... More

Came her with my daughter who had a good leak and potato soup with a big hunk of bread with butter. I had a cappuccino which was nicely made (barista put a heart shape on it). Thanks

Very pleasant and spacious with friendly staff. We decided to stick with a cappuccino each having seen the prices of the meals though the food did look good.

A good selection of food however the service is so slow that it's not worth the wait. The staff whilst pleasant enough either ignore you or do everything at a snails pace. It is also so expensive that a taxi into town to get something nicer would be cheaper and quicker. £8+ for slightly warmed panini and crisps...

Lovely atmosphere and a great menu. I had the tomato soup but to be honest I fancied everything on show. Lovely place just outside the city centre which is a haven of peace. Love it.
