We was seated in a nice booth, ok for the ugly the chicken liver pate was awful, worst I have ever tasted, the bad the menu was different from the menu on the internet and was not as much to choose from, although they did let me swap the chunky chips for the fries, the main was really tasty, the... Booked a table for 13 people at 7.30pm after our trip to the grand national, the restaurant was very nice inside and the staff were very helpful, we had to ask for the menu as no one offered it to us, and it was not the menu that they show on internet site, it was a totally different one, we... probably the worst restaurant I have visited. Service, food you name it, was terrible. Ordered veggie pizza, while eating found pieces of meat in it. Other meals were not cooked properly and were freezing cold. Waited over an hour for our food, when arrived they had forgotten two meals.

We arrived in the restaurant at 7 30 & we were the only customers! Good: 1. Parking is available off street (free after 6 pm) Bad: 1. The waitress did not inform us right at the beginning that there were no ribs (in any good restaurant, the waiter/waitress inform right away what's not there in the menu). After ordering the... ........... that above this fantastic grill was a decent hotel! We stayed down the road at the Aldelphi - what a horror story that is (see my hotel review!) The food was superb, beautifully cooked and seemingly the only place near the centre of town that served fresh vegetables and salads instead of chips. The service was attentive without being... NB: For all comments re: 'Restauarnt please read 'Hotel'. My wife & I got a very late notification from the Atlantic Thistle that they were double booked and had tranferred us to the Renshaw Hotel. Finding where it's location was difficult as it has not long been open. OMG - we thought! We travelled up and eventually found a small... More

Menu red background with black print - very hard to read! Service is brilliant - waitresses attentive and helpful an also up for a bit of craic. Starter to share was lovely option for 4 people. Quite good menu selection ranging through steak (cooked to perfection), burgers, duck, chicken, to sea bass (excellent). Vegetables al dente (well done chef) .Desserts... More
