We ate the Steak and Kidney pie. Beneath the light pasty the plentiful meat was succulent and tender as you like. The home made chips were crispy and fluffy - perfection. The complimentary home made bread was also delicious.

We had lunch at Browns during a brief visit to Lincoln. The food was delicious - the haslet terrine, the soup, the pork and mushroom pie, all very tasty and homemade. Good service and reasonable prices - a nice experience.

...so it must be okay! A lovely quirky restaurant on Lincoln's famous Steep Hill. A warm welcome and a great selection of pies on the menu! All very reasonably priced too.
