We visited as a group of four friends, for a breakfast prior to going for a walk. We were very surprised that they were unable to offer gluten free bread for my friend who is a coeliac. It is unusual today not to have it available and meant my friend had to have a cake instead of the looked forward... More

Fantastic setting for a farm shop and tea room, with wonderful views of the Cumbria countryside but also easily accessible. We visited around lunch time, when the tea room was busy, where we were quickly seated by a very friendly lady (who also happily moved tables together to allow our large party to sit together...thank you!) and drinks and food... Lovely farm shop, lovely staff, nice place and great concept with the milking. Coffee is lovely and the cakes are good too, but it's not a particularly good breakfast. It's a coffee spot in my opinion, so enjoy that but don't waste your money on the breakfast.

Popped in here for a much needed brew..... Delicious. Home made scones, clotted cream..... Yummy!!! I don't like the clip board menus' as they looked quite shabby, but that's personal opinion..... The food and drink are really good and the staff are always friendly. :)

Service was very friendly. Good range of vegetarian options. Lots of cakes. Quite busy lunchtime but we had a table overlooking where the cows are milked. There is also a shop to browse for clothes & a farm shop downstairs for food. I didn't notice if there was any other way up than stairs.

We were en route and in need of a coffee so very pleased to be able to park up and take in the farm shop before heading to the cafe. It was about 3.30pm and our visit coincided with milking the cows which we could observe from our table on a glass walled gallery directly overlooking the milking shed. The... More

Met up with friends today for morning coffee. Lovely atmosphere, efficient staff and some comfy seating. They have a large car park so no problems in parking. Food and drinks are always of a good quality.

Not only did they not get the order right initially they then got it wrong when correcting the first mistake. We won't be going back. The food was cold and poor choice and very price now. . Very sad as it used to be excellent

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and a coffee en route, but unfortunately after waiting in line for 15 minutes to get served and observing lots of tables still waiting for food we could wait no longer and walked out without anything. A shame because those lucky enough to get served seemed to be enjoying it. Staff were... More
