What a find! We were trudging around Kendal in the rain looking for a good place to eat and stumbled across this place. Its well hidden and down a small lane off the high street TBH I think we entered through the back of the wine bar. It has its own micro brewery! We had the 5 tapas dishes for... More

We probably go here at least twice a month. Service is always fast and with a smile and the atmosphere is great! Definitely worth a visit on a night out in Kendal.

Really tasty food at reasonable prices. we've been here on a number of occasions and tried quite a few things from the menu and can safely say the food is consistently good.

Always feel a bit sad if I end up here - can't explain why...it used to be the mock-Spanish bar with dusty terracotta tiles, the sweater-wearing barflys, and the stairs carpet that was older than me. The new extension is pleasant, especially in the daytime, but I'd still rather go elsewhere. Having said all this, it's still better than most... More

Upon searching for a place serving drinks past 10pm we found a little place down a dark one way street. We walked past as was very quiet, after all was a Tuesday night but changed our mind. Upon entering we were greeted by a bar person who served us the requested drinks. There was a couple of punters who were... More

Had lunch and truly enjoyed it. Lovely sandwiches, great beer! Very friendly service and a nice and quiet spot away from highstreet. They also make their own beer!

The wine bar is quietly tucked away on the road off the central Highgate. It has been recently refurbished and friendly

Three of us meet for lunch on a regular basis, so we decided to give Burgundy's a try . We are so glad we did. There are two entrances one down Lowther Street which is heavy with traffic & a narrow pavement. The second one is off the Main Street down one of Kendals many well known ally's just past... More

Firstly it is down a busy dark one way street with little signage. Don't be alarmed! It's worth it! You walk in and the first room is quite old fashioned and small.Venture down the stairs though and it's completely different. Bright, booths, trendy and relaxed. Go down the next set of stairs and it opens up into a huge space... More
