Lovely meal had by all four of us. Two had the ever popular pizza. One had the trio of mini burgers which were cooked to perfection, juicey and tasty. One had the special of belly pork which looked like it had come from a fine dining restaurant and tasted as if it had. Back on the list of where to... More

The Brewery is one of my favourite places so it only seemed right to go for my 40th - there were 20 of us and all of our pizzas tasted great, were hot and delivered at the same time. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff (both in the run up to the celebration e.g. cake delivery etc.) and... More

Being local & a regular visitor to the Brewery Art Centre I recently went for a meal to celebrate my 82nd birthday with a £50 voucher given by my daughters. On paying for the meal at £42 I was told no change will be given so my £8 was confiscated. I was also told if I'd only spent £20 the... More

The menu here is an eclectic mix of tapas, pizza and regularly changing specials. My meal today consisted of a trio of little beef burgers, served in brioche buns, with an excellent relish and salad garnish. Chips were chunky and fluffy. To follow, I had a superb blueberry panna cotta, beautifully smooth and creamy, served with a tangy sorbet. Service... More

One of the best restaurant meals we've had in a long time! Between two of us we ordered a salad, a pizza and a sharing board, which turned out to be a bit too much food for two, but was delicious! The waitress was very friendly, and we left stuffed and happy. Would definitely go again if in the area.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and although the menu wasn't that varied we really enjoyed our food. It does get very busy at weekends or if there is a gig on at the Brewey so best to book at certain times.

We called in on spec on a Tuesday evening, we were initially disappointed that it was a limited menu on that night. Pizza seemed to be the only option so that's what we had & they were lovely the best we have had. The staff were pleasant, courteous & helpful so a lovely evening was had.

Went out with a dear friend form Manchester and had a great time at the Brewery Arts Centre. Enjoyed a great array of tapas with the beef stack and Asian fish cakes being my particular favourites. All cooked perfectly and delivered by efficient and courteous staff. Would definitely recommend and will visit again without fail.

This was recommended as a place to eat out in Kendal but I won't be passing the recommendation on unfortunately. We had spinach, leek and fennel soup which sounded interesting but really was just spinach soup as we couldn't taste the other flavours. We then had a pizza each to follow - the toppings weren't very plentiful and the base... More

The combined tapas/pizza menu here is quirky, but there is something to suit most tastes and appetites. The pate was good value at £4.50 - really tasty and a substantial portion. I also ordered the chicken goujons, which were tender and well-cooked, served with a chilli dip. Service was excellent and obliging.
