Dropped in by chance for lunch and was really pleased so will definatly be back. I had the fish cakes which were lovely, they came with salad and jacket potato although you could choose to have veg and chips for £6.95 this seemed good value as the jacket potato with single filling was around £5. I also loved the tartare... More

Liked this place so much we ate there twice whilst staying in Kendal for a few nights. Honest food, nothing overly fancy good wine and reasonably priced. Recommended. Not open every evening (Thu-Sat I think).

Was looking for somewhere to eat in Kendal when we noticed this place just off the main street. We looked in the window at the menu and decided to try it. So glad we did. The food was excellent and extremely well priced. Definitely worth returning to for our next trip to Kendal.

The food here was really tasty and the menu satisfied the most fussy of us. It was tipping down with rain and we were soaked through, couldn't have been made more welcome. Great veggy/ vegan and gluten free food.

Called here for breakfast. It was cheap but very greasy. The service was good and the waitress friendly

Excellent food, prepared in house. Service with a smile, nothing too much trouble. My favourite is the fishcakes followed by Tiramisu. Evening menu also available.

Popped in for lunch today. Staff are very friendly. Decor bright, clean and tidy. My husband enjoyed the meat and potato pie with mushy peas. I must admit I was very jealous when I saw it! I had the lovely vegetable soup and a freshly made sandwich with side salad. All very tasty and good value. I would recommend for... More

Stopped for tea and a bacon sandwich when passing thru Kendal. Neither disappointed. Plenty tables in a modern setup with friendly service and reasonable prices. Would go again.
