    A lovely little cafe hidden off the main street of ambleside. Tucked away in the artists courtyard under the archway next to the climbing wall. We went in for breakfast, being the only place we could find open at 8.30 in the morning, and we weren't dissappointed. it was absolutely lovely, and very reasonably priced. The lunch menu looked really interesting and a little bit different from the rest of the cafes in ambleside though we didn't manage to get back to try it. We did though get back to sample the homemade cakes!!! I had the victoria sandwich and my boyfriend had the coffee and walnut.....both delicious. You can sit inside or outside in the courtyard. We would reccomend this place to all and will definately be returning when we're next in town.
