It has a fair amount of parking and is reasonably accessible. The lounge area is small and cosy with two two seater settees and for... More

We saw that it had been reinstated to the Tastecard scheme & now has a 5* hygiene rating. We booked a table on line & I specifically requested not to... More

This is a lovely independent pub. 10 of us visited (2 families) we had Sunday roast, lamb shank and nut roast, the food was tasty and hot and was accompanied by loads of vegetables and some great cauliflower cheese. The kids all had cheeses burgers and garlic bread which they enjoyed. The service was excellent and we didn't have to... More

We visited the Wagon at lunchtime, to begin with the service appeared friendly although not professional, the starter was overdone and the burgers we both chose although were good quality meat were tasteless, the buns were so soggy on the bottom that they fell apart. The side salad was quite nice, I had mashed potato and it was awful, If... More

My wife and I had a date night here Christmas Eve for our anniversary. The waitress was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was terrific. The only minor suggestion I would have for them is to get new chairs. The springs on some have gone, fortunately I moved one from another table which was fine. Decor... More
