Although the menu card has now overtaken the Weatherspoons in Selsdon in the world’s stickiest beerstained sheet of paper competition, the beer was very well kept and the food of good quality. Certainly worth considering rather than the ubiquitous chain restaurants nearby.

Great pub just off the beaten track, warm and cosy, open REAL log fire. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Had a nice spot of lunch both food and drink were nicely presented and reasonably priced. Idea place for a relaxing late afternoon
