The restaurant is conveniently located in the nice city of St. Albans. The restaurant is part of a chain which is inspired by the brasseries of Paris, serves French food, the location is really nice and cozy, the atmosphere is relaxed. We were a group of friends and we ordered appetizers, meat and couple of desserts. All was really good... More

I have taken breakfast here on several occasions. The full Cooked breakfast with coffeee and juice is good value. The ingredients used are good but not of the highest quality. To be fair you wouldn't expect them to be at the price charged. The service is variable. If you are hungry you can be assured that you will be well... More

We went in for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime and the food and service were both very good. Only thing I would say was that our fries were a little undercooked but I think that's a personal preference thing. I think it's a really good place to go for a date in the day or evening as it... More

I really enjoyed my visit here yesterday. The service was friendly and with good timing- never rushed but not waiting around! We had the set menu 2 courses for £10.95 which was very good value indeed. I had the tuna rillettes which tasted a bit creamier then I expected but was still good. I paid the supplement for the steak... More

I went to this restaurant with my colleagues, the service was really quick, the staff was nice. The weather was not really good and some colleagues couldn't come (we had chose our meals in advance) but it didn't bother the staff in the restaurant. The food was really good.

The atmosphere of this restaurant was mellow and relaxed, but definitely upmarket and had a luxurious feel, because it is French cuisine. Nice lighting, and although this is a big restaurant and there were a lot of people you didn't really notice them. The service was excellent, always attentive, but unobtrusive, very professional, and the food was to die for, just... Cote Brasserie never fails to please with their competitively priced menu and excellent choice of dishes. One bonus for our family is that the chain totally understands "gluten free" and we can eat there with confidence. Full marks again!

The best fish cake if tasted thus far. The fish takes over, rather than being stuffed with potato. Environment is lovely and staff are friendly. Would definitely go back there, just struggle with parking in St Albans!

Description
Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly
