Nice to have a pot of tea and China cups and saucers, cake was ok but expensive for the size of portion though.

We only visited for tea and cake, but this was the ideal place. Small and cosy, the cakes were on show under clear covers, and looked most appealing. The tea was served in real china, and was really good. Sugar was available in lumps with a sugar spoon. A place of calm with excellent service.

cosy tea shop with friendly staff. we had a jacket potato (which was oven baked, not microwave rubbish) and a tasty ploughman's followed by delicious carrot cake, washed down with a pot of tea served in mis-matched china. a real treat.

We visited here on or way on holiday to have some breakfast. The staff were prompt in serving and the full English breakfast was delicious and hearty! Had a great breakfast here, in the lovely courtyard. Not rushed and service quite gently paced. Lovely runny scrambled eggs. My partner had a full English with thick bacon. Definitely want to return.
