Our friends booked to have a meal to meet up for a social evening together. We were most disappointed with the menu. Basically it is now pub-food. Under the previous owners the menu was different and interesting, some flair without being pretentious. The ambience is...More

My mother treated us to lunch as her birthday outing: we only booked earlier in the morning and the restaurant was pleasantly busy without being too noisy. We had attentive pleasant service (including the prompt arrival of water!!) and were able to make variations on...More

Back after some 2 years and it was a bit of a shock to see the 'corporatisation' of what was once an independent hotel. Although the front of house and Fuggles was as good as ever, the menu has been reduced in scope and vision...More

Dear Pinker, Thank you for review. I am glad that you enjoyed your meal. I think you are slightly confused regarding our bread offering, however. We have a selection of artisan breads with, dips, oils and olives for which we charge £3. We are also...More

Visited Fuggles last night for an impromptu dinner. Beautiful setting without being too formal or stuffy. Service was exceptional. Menu choice very extensive and food was delicious. Cannot fault it at all and will definitely return soon.

The menu offers plenty of choice and the food was very good and well presented. I'm not sure if there is parking for patrons, but there is ample parking in the town car park behind The Feathers. The restaurant is part of The Feathers hotel...More

Great menu, helpful and friendly staff and good food. We had to send a tough steak back but there was absolutely no fuss about replacing it. We enjoyed it and would go back again.

Sat at the bar in the very busy brasserie and enjoyed a local vodka which was very nice. If here for longer would definitely return for food.
