Having visited this pub before, we decided to stop by and have a quick lunch from the menu. We opted for Cajun chicken wraps priced at 8.50. For the portion size, even though delicious, this seems rather over priced. The only thing that is lacking...More

The staff were really friendly and the pub was warm and cosy, with a wood burning fire - lovely on a cold, wet, January evening. There was ample, well spaced seating. We sat looking out over the river, which was entertaining and pretty. Service was...More

Lovely pub in Winchester with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The food was good hot and served quite quickly even though the pub was quite busy on a Saturday lunchtime.

Had a family meal evening of 4th February . Staff were pleasant enough, but beer was expensive, the food lukewarm and music far too loud. Certainly will not be returning.

Thank you Mike I have already written to you personally. As you know as a team we have discussed ways to keep the kale piping hot.... not an easy feat particularly if you don't eat it straight away.

Thank you for your review, I must agree we have had some quite chilly days.... On another note we do have wheelchair access... the doors at the bottom of the main staircase open straight out onto the pavement. Hope to see you soon...

Popped in for a quick drink before getting a bus. Really friendly bar staff and, as I discovered, excellent selection of Gin. Think they do food too but I'd eaten. Nice place

This is a very well appointed pub with a wood burning fireplace, ample seating and beer, yes, beer! Go.

Food very well presented and tasted good too. Though a Christmas set menu was still of a high standard. Service good, place was busy so service at the bar not the quickest

Perfectly placed to explore beautiful Winchester, The Bishop on the Bridge is elegantly situated on the bank of the River Itchen. Try a craft beer from a seat in our garden and enjoy our freshly prepared seasonal food while dining al fresco in the sunshine.
