We have to visit here everytime we go to gunwharf and the dockyard. Large fish and chips does us both :)

Excellent fish and chips, apparently cooked to order. Batter was best I have ever had! Wished I could get fish and chips like this at home in Malvern. Note - restaurant is, usefully, very close to cross channel ferry port.

Not much to say really a pretty average chippy but in a convenient place if you've just come out of the dockyard. Its much cheaper than the food inside

Well, we decided to try traditional English food and that is why we've chose this particular spot. Generally speaking it wasn't bad, but too oily and fatty. There are no vegetable options at all - mostly only fish and chips. Also, menu itself is somehow poor, no big selections of food. Enormous portions, even more than needed with lots of... More

I travel from the Isle of Wight and bring own ketchup etc. so we can all eat in the car before getting on ferry, then straight to cabin to sleep.

We have eaten here on many occasions. The food is always superb. The fish is fresh, the batter light and the chips perfect. Service is excellent and super fast. We have never waited more than five minutes from ordering to receiving freshly cooked food. Everything is cooked freshly to order - nothing is left in warming cabinets. We cannot recommend... More

What should you eat by the seaside? Fish and chips of course. Great portions, good selection including various fish choices when in season. Recommended!

The venue may look small but the portion size is big. Fresh food and plenty of it. Nice find and would recommend if visiting the sea front

Just an ordinary Chippie with tables at the back. Right opposite the "Warrior" so very handy for an "al fresco" lunch. We bought Haddock and chips (x2) . The fish was cooked fresh as we waited . Plenty of chips, great batter and a very good piece of fish. We live well away from the sea and I've always said... More
