Fantastic family meal, great food infact some of the nicest pub food I've had in a long time! Lovely atmosphere and great service. Good kids menu as well. Faultless.

Had two evening dinners at the Falcon, both times warmly welcomed and staff pleasant throughout. Starters, mains and puds all very enjoyable, menu a little different with nice touches. Would go out of our way to eat here.

We booked on Saturday but our table was not ready, so we waited a while in the bar. It would have been good to have a menu to look at during the wait. Then we got to the table, the starter ordered was not available, then when the main courses arrived , the lamb was totally fatty and overcooked. We... More

Beer and wine was fine. Service was pretty good. Interior of restaurant is like a 'foodie pub' and quite pleasing. Food - simply awful! The crispy duck pancake starter had a sauce that tasted like it came from a cheap supermarket bottle of sweet chilli sauce. The duck was oily, and the spring onion and cucumber was coarsely & carelessly... More

Defiantly several notches up from your average pub food, staff were welcoming to the four adults and one three year old. The food was very good quality and nicely presented very near good restaurant food at reasonable prices

This is a lovely light and open pub with a modern feel. Service was excellent, but the food was a little underwhelming. Not quite as tasty as it appears from the menu. Shame, as otherwise seems ideal. Maybe we got them on a bad day.

Went for breakfast and a cup of tea a few hours later on a rainy saturday after a long walk. Relaxed atmosphere, tea and cakes good enough. Shame they ran out of scones.

Unbelievably good quality and value. Excellent service and would 100% recommend it. Definitely the best restaurant in Painswick. Be sure to order the 'best of both' roast dinner. Unreal!
