A well presented meal with the attention to smaller detail. Worth a visit for THE occasion. Not the cheapest of evenings, but you get what you pay for! A good wine list.

Wonderful place for a Saturday lunch. Beautifully served in a friendly atmosphere. Simple but imaginative menu with every dish delicious and good value for money for a set 3 course lunch. Wide choice of wine and tasty snacks at the beginning and handmade chocolates at...More

I finally got round to visiting Lumiere after five years of living in Cheltenham and I wish I hadn't left it so long. This place certainly deserves all the positive reviews it gets. This is fine dining at its best. The rather dull shopfront opens...More

We were warned that it might not be easy to find Lumiere and the warnings were right! (Incidentally the awning that some guides mention as an identifier is no longer there!). Once you find the discreet door and step inside, it is all the more...More

It's a couple of years since we last dined here, in part a consequence (in our minds only) of our decision to give up meat. A chance meeting with Helen and Jon at a wine tasting event reminded us that they can easily cope with...More

Lumiere never fails to delight. A warm and friendly ambience with a peaceful buzz rather than reverential silence provides just the right backdrop to enjoy the delicious dishes created by Jon and his team. The tasting menu included both long-time favourites and fresh, seasonal flavours...More

This year I decided to go on a foodie adventure, it started as a birthday treat and turned into a rather nice addiction. Lumiere was the first of the many restaurants and what a great start. I was there at lunchtime and ending up picking...More
