Came here with friends and it was outstanding. Service was great and it was the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted. Price was great compared to how much we actually got. Highly recommend for whenever

after a fun weekend with the family we decided to come to india lounge for meal. we didn't book but we were able to sit at restaurants. food tasted fabulous and service was great. highly recommend we will be back with friends soon.

Still sat here right now - had high hopes of a meal here having heard good things. The curry sauce itself was OK but £16 for 3 prawns in a curry was a bit surprising. They hurried us all evening, which as locals was a...shame, it was clear they wanted us out so that they could pander to the race crowd this weekend. Probably won't be back as a result, maybe they should think about how they axt during service and how it might impact usual times rather than just race meetings.More

Visited the India Lounge restaurant yesterday and must say it was worth the visit. The service to food was outstanding and the waitering staff were very attentive. I live in Gloucestershire and can't believe I've never come across this restaurant but will most certainly return...again.More

Been here many times over the last 10 years and sad to say, but it’s likely to be a good while until I visit again. Had a table booked for 4 at 9.30. From the moment we arrived, we were rushed by rather rude and...fairly aggressive waiting staff. None of the friendly service that was so obvious when collecting takeaways during lockdown. That seems to be a thing of the past now the restaurant is open to diners again. At 9.55 I had had enough and asked when they were closing assuming it was imminently. No, they close at 11pm and I was told “so you have a little bit of time yet”. We were halfway through our main courses by this stage and were well on our way by 1030. It just felt like we were a hindrance but the place was far from empty and we weren’t holding anyone up. Seriously, in a really competitive environment, your service is going to have to improve drastically or your regulars will vote with their feet. I will be heading elsewhere next time. On the plus side, the food was as good as ever so it’s a real shame but I don’t think I’ll be rushing back. My fellow diners feel the same way. Pity.More
