The food at this wonderful tea-room is lovely and fresh, and very tasty, and the decor is stunning. You can spend hours just enjoying the various objects on the walls, and the eclectic mixture of crockery just adds to the atmosphere. The service was exceptional, and our visit lived up to all our expectations.

This tea room is beautiful. It is like a scene from a bygone era with vintage China, embroidered table clothes and antiques adorn the walls. The best thing about it however is the welcoming staff who were very down to earth and couldn't enough to accommodate you. I went for my birthday afternoon tea and they made it feel very... More

Incredible quirky place with three floors of cosy seating and object d'art as far as the eye can see. Food & Afternoon Tea is exquisite and the staff are hospitable and service excellent. You absolutely won't be disappointed

I visited for my grandmother's birthday in a party of 5 for afternoon tea. It was a Saturday so I had booked a table expecting it to be busy. There are bay windows which are converted into seats and we had plenty of space even though it is a small tea room. The staff were very friendly and helpful as... More

Go regularly, for its sheer English flavour; both of food and ambience. It epitomises all that is best in our country. Like a Jane Austen experience, one is wafted into a Downton Abbey dining-room in the manner in the style of England. Surrounded by antiques this tea-shop is the best I've encountered around this lovely country.

A lovely afternoon tea in a lovely and cozy tea room. Nice service, good quality food: delicious sandwiches, scones and homemade cakes, viennoiseries, served on a lovely 3 tiered cake stand, decorated with fresh strawberries, grapes and raspberries. The room is full of antiques, teapots and objects. I felt like Alice in wonderland.

This is a very sweet little tea shop near St Mary's in Cheltenham. The staff are very friendly and the decor quirky. We ordered Afternoon Tea, which at £12 was very reasonably priced. The food was very nice, although the sandwiches were a bit dull. There was plenty of tea. It was rather cramped, so OK once we were in,... More

We had a delicious afternoon tea to start my weekend of birthday celebrations . Despite some of our party arriving late ( train problems) the tea rooms took it all in their stride and provided an afternoon tea ( at lunchtime) that kept us full into the evening. The sandwiches were tasty and plentiful ( although not particularly dainty- not... More

My regular tea haunt in Cheltenham, and what a little gem! Always a friendly welcome in this tiny tea room, from staff and customers alike. Lovely tea, cakes, sandwiches and snacks.
