Arrived early afternoon and found comfy bench seat by a window. Ordered sandwiches and coffee , and the sandwiches ( Italian cheese and basil ) were freshly made. Coffee was very good . Service was efficient and did not have to wait long for food . Inside is a bit crowded with little space between chairs and tables, and had... More

We visited the cafe this morning as my husbands favourite breakfast is Kippers. I pre ordered this and I had the full english the food was superb and the service excellent. The 2 young girls that work there should be highly praised for their cheery greeting and attention to detail

Lovely little cafe, which turned out to be bigger inside than we thought! But we nabbed a table on the pavement and enjoyed a great crab sandwich in the sunshine. Service was prompt and friendly, the facilities were good and clean. It was reasonably priced and a great spot. They also do some great Movenpick ice-cream to take away in... More

I really can't understand those few bad reviews. We popped in, on a Saturday, the place was full, and little left on the menu. Clearly a popular place. However the lovely lady told us what was available so we chose to have a Brie and cranberry sandwich. It was delicious, great thick slices of cheese, masses of salad and a... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this cafe by chance this weekend which proved quite the happy accident! We enjoyed some of the locally made cakes and some really excellent coffee. The music was lovely and the staff were cheery, quick and attentive.

Had to wait ages, being ignored by staff. Whilst waiting to be served at the counter, other customers were coming in to complain about the poor service as well. Finally I was served but by a member of staff who obviously had no clue what she was doing. The whole experience was a let down right from the start, which... More

The woman behind the counter ignored me for 5 minutes then barely grunted 'no' at me when I asked if they were still serving sandwiches at 2.45. So walked out and found a lovely place opposite for late lunch.
