We have dined here on may occasions and generally have been very pleased. However the last occasion was very average. Service was slow and sloppy with the staff showing little interest in their customers. Food was very ordinary and not particularly well presented. It is...More

We visited Lewes for the day and found the Jolly Sportsman along our travels. The restaurant itself in decor and location is very nice, but I was very disappointed with the limited menu, only 5 main courses, and 2 had sold out, so down to...More

Hear the pub is up for sale. A bit concerned as we are invited to a celebration lunch 4 August. Can we be sure of same standards as always ?
